BLOGMAS DAY - 3!

Hi guys,

So today my Christmassy thing has to be my dog!

Now I know what your thinking, "a dog?"

Yes a dog! She lets you do anything and me and Faye decided to make her look festive!

We bought her an age three Christmas jumper form Matalan (Matalan.co.uk) and it actually fits her! She loves it!

Although she's only aloud to wear it Christmas Day :/ haha

Merry Christmas,

BLOGMAS DAY 1-2!

Hi guys!

So I've put Blogmas day 1 and 2 I tot the same post for you guys!
This is because it's putting up the Christmas decorations! And obviously that takes a while! Haha

I don't know about you but decorating the house is one of the best things to do at Christmas! I just love it so much! I don't know whether that is because of my interest in design or not, who knows! All I know is that it puts me in one of the most Christmassy mood EVER! I just love it!

This year we got a new tree for the living room! And it's just the best! It's so tall and bushy! It's everything you want in a tree!

We also changed yo the way we do our tree this year, we usually have it gold with ribbon, but this year we went for a more rustic look with gold and pine ones and wood and just everything that you would relate to christmas! (Except tinsel! That stuff is the devil!)

Here's some Pics for you to have a gander at...

(Conservatory tree)

Merry Christmas,

Blogmas?

Hi guys!

So, with this being my first Christmas blogging I thought I would do Blogmas.

I don't know if this really exists or not but its my take on vlogmas! Accept without vlogging I guess?

So what it shall entail is blogging something Christmassy from the first of December to Christmas Day! This will give me the incentive to blog and to do something Christmassy everyday! (Hopefully)

So yea!

Im Torn!

Hi guys!

So this is just a rant basically,

I haven't been blogging much lately due to other commitments that are getting in the way... one of them being Art college.

Now this is what I want to rant about... basically I am NOT enjoying it in the slightest! and as a result I just don't know what to do :( its literally sucking the soul out of me (like a death eater from harry potter).

I feel like i'm putting on a false facade the entire time i'm there to come across as me and obviously I shouldn't have to do that! Normally I don't let myself get like this about something, if I have a problem I will find a way around it and move on (i'm not a quitter) but the entire time i've been there i'm just feeling miserable. Im so bored to the point that chewing my own leg off would give me some entertainment!

I have been there three nearly four months now and I don't feel like have learned anything apart from how to draw a pineapple with a piece of bamboo and some recycled crap! (YES ITS THAT BAD) obviously not all choices in life can be the correct ones and everything happens for a reason, i'm just hoping this choice will eventually lead me to where I want to end up.

At the moment I don't know what that choice will be, whether it is to stick it out and feel miserable for two years or to find an alternative that will make me happy and make me look forward and give me my enthusiasm back about my day.

Sorry about the downer rant but I just needed to let it all go (frozen reference right there) and I thought this would be the best way.

As always,
Thanks for reading :)

Hi guys!,
So, on one of my recent posts I was all like "yea I've got an upload day" and I was intending on sticking to these certain dates.
I've just been stuck in a rut and haven't had a clue as to what to write about and I didn't want to do crappy boring posts! There's no need for irbid there?

So yea hopefully we have an exciting time of year coming up (christmas)!! So I will have loads and loads to blog about because I'm gonna try and be as Christmassy as possible haha :) (I may even do vlogmas if I pluck up the courage!)

So yea just a quick update to let you all know I haven't fallen off the face of the earth!

I went to Rome!!

Hi Guys!
So I went to rome!

Rome what can I say? its everything you dreamt it would be, seriously. ITS AMAZING!!!
The streets are soo quirky and intricate! Even the dodgy backstreets!
we docked in the port of Rome that morning and me and Faye were so excited to go explore (me more so as Faye doesn't like walking). It was just as I imagined! old and ruined but yet full of life (and creepy witch beggars).

We visited all the ancient landmarks and even went inside the Colosseum! ( I must say probably the best experience of my life) it was breathtaking! I even took a piece of stone laying on the floor as a keepsake haha.

we then went on to the Trevi Fountain or as the Romans would say The Fountain De Trevi, or something like that. Unfortunately it was closed for restoration which was pretty gutting although I could still see it I couldn't toss a coin into it (insert sad face here) but hey look on the bright side only a handful of people can say they have seen the Trevi Fountain empty? We then investigated the busy backstreets of the city and found a little traditional pizzeria! its was AMAZING, The best pizza I have ever eaten (even better than domino's!). we then went on to Have gelato from the same shop that they buy it from in the Lizzie Mcguire movie, you know when Lizzie meets Paulo for the first time? It was deliciouso.

All in all it was probably one of the best days of my life :)
If anybody is debating on going i would highly recommend it! seriously.

Pompeii! | James.com

Hi Guys!

So whilst on my cruise I visited Pompeii!

What an amazing place that is! Its full of interesting historical facts and everything!

For those of you who don't know Pompeii is A small town in-between Naples and Sorrento on the foot of Mount Vesuvius, that of which was founded in 80BC an was later destroyed by a volcanic eruption years later in 79AD killing all that lived there! The habitants that tried to escape the lava and the ash fled by boat to be Later killed by a tsunami caused by the earthquakes from the eruption.

Enough of the history lesson, lets get on to the pictures:

Stay tuned!

I went on a cruise! | James.com

Hi Guys

So this summer I was rather busy, I went on a couple of holidays, Of which you will see from my blog posts.

In the middle of August me and my sister (Faye) went on a cruise! I know its a little weird a brother and sister of the ages 18 and 21 both going on a cruise together but in all fairness we do get on really well and we LOVE cruises!

The cruise we went on was the Island Escape! The ship wasn't overly big but it was amazing! Don't get me wrong it was no royal Caribbean but it suited us both to a T!

We chose this cruise because the ship is casual and the itinerary looked incredible! It was a win win situation because I was looking for a sightseeing holiday whereas Faye was looking for A relaxing holiday and this cruise me right in the middle.

The itinerary was as follows:

Board ship at Palma
Day at sea
Trapani, Sicily
Naples, Italy
Citcavecchia, Italy (the port for the city of Rome)
Ajaccio, Corsica
Mahon, Menorca
Disembark ship in Palma

I saw this as the perfect itinerary because I have ALWAYS wanted to go to Rome and this was my chance!

In the next two posts I will talk more about Pompeii and Rome but because there is so much to talj about I wont be able to fit it into one blog!

Stay tuned!

Where have I been?? | James.com

Hi Guys!

So, first things first!
I would like to apologise, I haven't written a blog post in soooooo long! I mean I cant even remember writing my last one :O But from now on I will be making A blogging schedule and have already made a list of future blog posts! (I love A good list).

Right then lets get onto the main blog post shall we!

In june I went on holiday with my family to our apartment in the Spanish holiday destination of Benidorm! Now I know people have mixed reviews on the place and see it in the way the ITV show represents it, (its nothing like that). The whole "common british family" and "stag and hen do" stereotype has given the place a bad name. I have been going here since I was born, long before the TV show was ever aired and now see it as a second home.

When we arrived we had plans to do the holiday a little differently then usual. We wanted to have an adventure and bring ourselves out of our comfort zone. Sometimes when you visit a place as often as we do Benidorm you can get stuck in a rut and often get bored of the same old, same old.

To be honest we did try to do things differently by visiting areas of the town that we wouldn't usually venture to although we did stick to some of our usual areas too. On a night we made the effort to try restaurants and bars In the old town which is at the other end of the town from where we are and we even went to peacock island!

Peacock island is A tiny island just off of the Levante coastline and can be seen from the beach. Old spanish legend has it that the island made its way into the sea from a giant stubbing his toe on the mountain and hurling part of the rocky landscape into the sea (I don't know how many people believe that?)

So yea! i thought id fill you in on one of the places i have been to this summer :)
